We read from 2 Corinthians 9:6 -7, “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

However poor or rich we are we can all give to God.   And why do we give?  We give first of all to show our gratitude to God for all He has done for us.  When we give to the Lord it is not the size of our gift that matters.  What matters is the motive behind our giving.
