The Archdiocese of Denver celebrates the Chrism Mass at the Cathedral Basilica. During the Chrism Mass, the Oil of the Sick, the Oil of Catechumens and the Chrism oil are consecrated by the Archbishop. These oils are distributed to representatives of each parish, presented on Holy Thursday and used for the sacraments throughout the year.
