This class prepares students for the reception of the sacrament of confirmation.  Confirmandi receive a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Confirmation makes us “Soldiers for Christ”; willing to devote our lives to Jesus, fully embracing our faith and actively sharing the Catholic faith with everyone we encounter.  In order to do this the majority of the class will be focused on the teaching of the Church as well as spiritual preparation for the work of God.  Finally, students will be prepared to receive the sacrament of confirmation itself, focusing not only on the practicals of this sacraments but the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Students will learn about the lives of the Saints and will choose a patron saint for their confirmation.
